  1. Let r=1 radius of quarter circle.
    See post 172 for definition of angle theta (tan(theta) = pi/2).
    Complete the square of side r=1.
    Consider right triangle of sides 1 and tan(theta)-1. Let beta = angle adjacent to side 1 of this triangle.
    Let delta = pi/2 + beta. Then,
    tan(delta)=tan(pi/2+beta)=-cot(beta)=
    =-1/tan(beta).
    tan(beta)=(tan(theta)-1)/1=pi/2-1 -> tan(delta)= 1/(1-pi/2)=2/(2-pi).
    Answer C.
