let r=1(1) A+C=cos(tetha)(2) B+C=PI/4(1)-(2)=0=cos(tetha)-PI/4cos(tetha)=PI/4
man you're good.
thanks dude
Thank you man!!!
Area of quarter circle equals area of rectangle. So...(1/4)(pi)(r^2) = r*x ; x=(1/4)(pi)(r)x is the unknown width of the rectangle.cos(theta) = x/r or (1/4)(pi)(r)/rcancel r's out to get (1/4)pi or pi/4
Very easy, D
let r=1
ReplyDelete(1) A+C=cos(tetha)
(2) B+C=PI/4
(1)-(2)=0=cos(tetha)-PI/4
cos(tetha)=PI/4

ReplyDeleteSo...
(1/4)(pi)(r^2) = r*x ; x=(1/4)(pi)(r)
x is the unknown width of the rectangle.
cos(theta) = x/r or (1/4)(pi)(r)/r
cancel r's out to get (1/4)pi or pi/4
