  3. Symmetry with 4 semicircles and two diagonals drawn. Take the left bottom corner as (0,0) and right top (2,2), Intersection of the diagonal x =2y , and smaller semicircle x^2 + (y - 1/2)^2 = 1/4 is (0.4,0.2) . So, the arctan of angle between longer side of the rectangle and small red line in the diagram is 0.2/(2 - 0.4) = 1/8.
    So, the desired angle arctan(1/2) - arctan(1/8) = 6/17
